I studied landscape plein-air painting with noted California
Impressionists while living in the Bay area. Although I no longer
live there, frequent visits keep my portfolio refreshed with the energy
inherent in the ocean, the bays, the mountains, and the dynamic spirit
of the people.

laying in the valley between the cliffs. The falls
appear to empty into the abyss while the morning fog rises,
like spirits ascending. A very mystical place!

park on an old ranch and Indian camping ground, north of San Francisco and
Novato, in Marin County. It was the site of one of very first hippie
communes.

fog was rolling in, I chanced to spot this line of dutiful
cattle following the truck with their dinner. A perfectly
laughable ending to a perfect day. |
