My still
life paintings are done in the "Old Master's" style, applying thin
glazes over several months. This builds up the color from
underneath and the objects develop a mystical richness, not
obtainable any other way. The paintings also use "chiaroscuro"
or light emitting from the darkness techniques to further enhance
the light "melody" your eye follows and your mind "hears".
